Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026. Short version: we collect what you give us, use it to do what you asked, and do not sell it.
Who we are
Powers Advertising, Knoxville, Tennessee. This policy covers powersadvertising.com and app.powersadvertising.com.
What we collect
- When you build or order a website. Your name, email address, business name, phone number, and the details about your business that you give us so the site can be written. If you sign in, we keep your account and the changes you ask for.
- When you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe on its own checkout page. We do not see or store your card number. We keep a record of what you bought and when.
- When you ask for a workbook. Your first name and email address, which workbooks you asked for, and when they were sent.
- When you use the contact form. Whatever you type into it.
- When you visit. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and records the pages viewed, how you arrived, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. Our server keeps standard logs.
What we use it for
- To build, host and change your website, and to bill you for it.
- To send what you asked for, such as a workbook or a reply to your message.
- To send an occasional note to people on the workbook list. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and it works.
- To see which pages people read so we can improve the site.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not run advertising or remarketing from the analytics data.
Who else handles it
Companies that run parts of the service for us: Stripe for payments, Amazon Web Services for hosting, our email delivery providers, and Google for analytics. They handle your information only to provide that service.
Email we send to businesses
We sometimes email a business once to show it a website preview. Each of those emails says who we are, gives our mailing address, and has a link to stop any further email. If you use it, you will not hear from us again.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it.
- Block analytics cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you. Use the contact form or call 865-347-8374.
- If you cancel a website plan, you can take your site files with you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version and its date will be on this page.
